But we are also a part of the larger church body throughout the world. This Christmas we are looking forward to partnering with other ministries to reach even more people.
Every year here at Crosspoint we participate in a Christmas offering. Our goal is to raise $25,000 above our regular giving. These funds will allow us to expand our impact and ministry and partner with other ministries in our community, our nation and around the world. We are planning on using 80% of the Christmas offering to help impact lives outside of our community.
Our World
· Building a well for a village dying in Africa because of unclean water
Our Nation
· Supporting two church plants in America-one in Michigan and one in Florida
· Supporting a Native American ministry in Washington State that ministers and shares the love of Christ with forgotten teenagers on local reservations
Our Community
· Partnering with a local food bank and meal ministry here in Hernando County which has been so overwhelmed as a result of the economy
Our Church
· Making some vital improvements to our Children’s Ministry
I am so thrilled that we are at a place financially to help bless ministries around the world, making an eternal difference for the cause of Christ. We each have a chance to partner together through this offering to reach people.
And I know you want to help and here is how you can…
Would you and your family prayerfully consider what you would like to give, and then give that gift and invest in expanding our church’s impact on the lives of our community? God has blessed us in so many ways- this is a special way to give back. Every year Erin and I look at all the gifts we buy, and we give the most expensive gift to the Christmas Offering- since it is Jesus’ birthday we celebrate. Our mantra is, “Let’s give the best gift to Jesus”.
Our goal for our Christmas offering -$25,000 above and beyond our regular giving
So what will you give Jesus this year for Christmas?
